Your health care provider can refer you to see Dr Love. We will review the referral letter and then contact you to arrange the most suitable time for you to come for an appointment. In urgent cases, a phone referral from your practitioner will help us to expedite your care.
What to bring to your appointment
- Appropriate clothing for your examination: If we are seeing you for your shoulder, please wear a singlet top for the examination. If it is a lower limb problem, shorts or loose pants that can be easily rolled above the knee.
- The details of X-rays or other imaging you have.
- A list of your medical conditions and medications.
What to expect
Hamish will discuss your current problem and relevant medical issues. He will also examine you. We may need to order more investigations, such as CT or MRI scans. Together we will make a treatment plan for your problem, discussing both the benefits and any potential risks of both surgical and non-surgical options.
For ACC patients, appointments are fully funded. For private patients, payment is to be made on the day of your appointment, unless you have pre-approval from your insurance company. We are a Southern Cross Preferred Provider and are registered for “Easy Claim”
